The form of the Lagrangian Expression.
Rule 1. Write each constraint so that all nonzero terms appear on one side of the inequality or the
equal sign and only a zero appears on the other side of the expression. In a maximization problem all inequaliy constraints should be rewritten in the form S>=0 where S is the sum of all nonzero terms, while in a minimization problem the inequality should be reversed, i.e., the relantionship should be written in the form S<=0.
