-More than 500 hours of courses, workshops and seminars concerning TESL and translation techniques.

Professional Experience

-I have been a freelance translator for more than 10 years. I started translating letters for Plan Piedad Intl. back in 1995 and eventually got myself involved in the world of translations -which I love- working with important corporations within Ecuador such as Indurama, Fundación de Turismo para Cuenca, STOES SA, ACSAM Consultores, etc. as well as foreign entities such as World Harvest,Inc. and Notaría del Ecuador in New York for whom I have worked since 2006.
I have translated an infinite number of documents, starting from small personal letters up to extense construction manuals. I have been able to translate documents written in popular language as well as technical documents in areas such as engineering, medicine, religion, tourism, education, etc. Working with Notaría del Ecuador in New York brought me to a whole new world that involved all kinds of legal documents, from birth certificates to high school transcripts and the several kinds of judgments and trials that exist.
I have learned to become a professional in what I do and I do my best to do it accurately.
