I have in the past been contracted by Mr. Ochieng Oloo to do some translations jobs
that had been given to him by a Non-Governmental Organisation
I have worked for Swahili Translations ltd in doing various translation works
Translation of Financial document for Eastern Africa Farmers Federation
I have done a number of open source translations e.g. Pidgin and Firefox 4 unde the name of Boniface

Education

I hold a degree in office administration and swahili and therefore i consider it will be of great help if i could get to use my knowledge obtained from the university in swahili since i dont use swahili in the office apart from the spoken part of the language.

i believe i have great potential in translation. i have a former colleague in college who sends me some work to translate and i believe i can make it to do it even for other people. He teaches swahili and is also a translator his name is Ochieng Oloo.

Professional Experience

My engagement as a translator with Swahili Translations has been of great help and i am thankful for the opportunity given to be able to do the work i did for them. Under the guidance of Boniface Kyalo i have learnt a great deal in the translation field including the use of some of the translation tools.
