Education

I have a postgraduate diploma in French-English commercial translation from the London School of Translators and Interpreters and the London Chamber of Commerce. I also have a 2-1 Honours Degree in English. I was educated for over four years in a French lycee as a child and speak fluent French as well as English, my mother tongue. I also have 'A' levels in French, Spanish and English and speak Spanish and Italian pretty fluently as well, having lived for years in both of those places.

Professional Experience

My last job in the Far East was as Translations Editor for Wheel Giant Inc,an international bike industry publishing house. I translated a lot of articles from the world bike press from French, Spanish and Italian into English.
Over the years I have done an immense amount of freelance translation from French, Spanish and Italian to English. This has included everything from the complete works of Dr Christian Ficat the French intellectual to legal contracts from Italian to English. I have also studied at the Universita Per Stranieri in Italy on their translators' course.
