I was raised in a Russian and Polish speaking family and resided in Russia and Poland.
Languages fascinate me: I take every opportunity to use mine and learn more.
I am a bookworm at heart and enjoy research, so few topics are off limits.

The Leagal Aid Society - employed since 1994 on a steady basis as a contract employee for Russian < > English AND Polish < > English translation/transcription/interpreting

New York Department of Education via Bilingual Professionals and Consultant Network for translation/interpreting/editing in Russian and Polish

RCI International editing and back translation of medical texts from Russian and Polish - Russian and Polish

Other agencies - translation and interpreting: business and finance medicine, law, literature, journalism, education (state laws regarding education, educational programs, trancripts, curricula)

Currently employed by the United Nations International School and assist the school staff, students and parents with translation and interpreting as needed.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Tour guide (Russian and Polish) at the United Nations, court interpreter (NYC Family Court), bi-lingual tour director, teacher of Russian in the US (NYU, Cedar Ridge High school) and in Russia (Anglo-American School of Moscow)
