How does the site make money?

Two fees are deducted from jobs when the jobs are paid:

  1. New Client Contact (NCC): This is a finder's fee or lead, in any other business. Basically, we are charging you 0.50 USD every time a registered client initiates a conversation with you via ComConsole. The main purpose for charging this fee is to make sure you don't leave ComConsole "off the hook" and actually disconnect when you're away from your computer.
  2. Payment Processing Commission (PPC): This fee is generally 10% sales commission on the price of the job that has been paid. This fee is meant to cover the rent, electricity, online advertising, salaries, and development costs that are needed to keep Translator's Corner running. However, small discounts will be offered on jobs where clients pay with a preferred method of payment. At this time however, the exact numbers for the discounts are not ready.

Please check our Legal Terms and Conditions for a detailed schedule fee of the job types.
