Our referral system gives you great benefits for telling your clients or other translators about Translator's Corner.

Referral System for your Clients

If you bring one of your existing clients to Translator's Corner and work over SecureTrans, your job will be 100% free!. That's right, you will enjoy all the benefits of SecureTrans, without any cost.

Why would I bring an existing client into Translator's Corner?

That's easy. SecureTrans not only gives you the absolute certainty that you will get paid (because your client pays us in advance), but it also avoids unnecessary arguments over subjective opinions about terms.

In Translator's Corner:

• The client pays in advance and we keep the money in escrow until the job is completed, so you're sure to get paid. If you've never worked with this client before, don't run the risk of losing your money.
• If there are disputes about the job, an expert unbiased linguist will review them and decide whether they are objective, or just a matter of taste.
• A client can pay you even if they have to use a payment method that you can't accept (For example, if they can only pay by Credit Card, and you can't receive Credit Card payments directly).

We normally say "We don't get paid if you don't get paid". But if you bring your own client, we don't get paid at all!.
You will receive all the benefits of SecureTrans, and we will waive 100% of our commission on all the jobs that this client hires you to do on the site, forever. It is your client, so it is your money, 100%, for every single job this client hires you to do over SecureTrans.

The only thing we will charge you is our actual financial cost. That amount will depend on the payment method the client chooses. For example, if they pay us by check, then your cost is $ 0.00. If they pay by Paypal, however, the cost will be around 3%, which is what Paypal charges us to receive that payment.
We are not earning any money here, just covering the actual costs our banks charge us.

How does it work?

For you to be able to enjoy these benefits, your client must sign up with Translator's Corner, saying he came from you.
This can happen in several ways. You can give them your magic referral code (available to you in the Referral System section of My Corner), or you can email them a link that will take them directly to the sign-up page with your referral code pre-filled.

One way or another, once the client signs up with your referral code, he is marked in our system as your client, and he will be directed straight to your profile, where he will be able to offer you a SecureTrans job directly, without having to search for you.
Also, to make it easier for him to offer you jobs again, you will be added to his list of Favorite Translators.
And, like we said, all these jobs will be free forever.

Also, for the referral system to be available to you, a client must be able to offer you jobs in SecureTrans.

This means that 3 things need to happen regarding your registration:

• You must have completed all the steps in the registration process.
• Your e-mail address must be confirmed.
• You must have loaded a rate for the Service Type and Language Pair that you'll be hired for.

If any of these are not met, you will see a note in My Corner, and you will not be able to get your referral code.

That's all there is to it. Once the job is completed, you will see a waiver of our commission in your financial report, and be able to withdraw your money immediately.

Referral System for Translators

Since we launched Translator's Corner early this year, we've had quite a good response from the translators' community. This has allowed us to test the site, make sure our philosophy worked, and make dozens of small improvements.
Now we are ready for big time growth, and we need your help with it.

Tell your friends, your colleagues and your co-workers about Translator's Corner, and for each job they complete in SecureTrans, we will give you half of the commission we charge.

That means 5% of the total amount of all the jobs they complete in SecureTrans. Forever!. And that is just for sending them an e-mail referring them to our site!

By the way, if you have a blog, this is a nice way to profit from it. Write about us, and provide a link we'll give you that will automatically connect anyone that uses it to your profile (both clients and translators), and give you all these advantages.

How does it work?

The referral system for Translators works just like the one for clients.
The translators your refer must sign up with us, and say that they came from you.
Again, you can give them your referral code, e-mail it to them, or blog about it.

Once they sign-up, the system knows they have been referred by you, and you will be able to see a list of all the people that used the code you gave them. From that moment on, each time they complete a SecureTrans job, you will see a credit in your Translator's Corner account, for half the commission we charge them (obviously, what we charge them does not change because they were referred). You will also see these amounts in the Referrals Report, so you can see exactly how much money each of your colleagues has generated for you.

Just like for Client Referrals, in order to give out your referral code, your registration must be complete, your e-mail must be confirmed, and you must have rates loaded in our system. Likewise, for your referrals to be able to receive jobs, they will have to meet these requirements too. (You will see whether they have or not, so you can let them know about it).
