How does SecureTrans Work?

SecureTrans is your encrypted control center to assign a job to a translator and then agree on a price, process secure payment, and receive the final documents.

SecureTrans keeps track of all your communication with the translator and all files sent to and from the translator so that any future arbitration will be objective and quick.

Here is what happens when you use SecureTrans after finding your translator with the Auto Price Comparison Tool:

  1. Confirm the deadline for the job and upload any additional files, reference materials, or NDAs.
  2. The translator checks the files and adjusts the terms.
  3. The client discusses the terms with the translator via ComConsole* and approves them—the deal is sealed.
  4. The Client pays for the job.
  5. The Translator translates.
  6. Progress reports are submitted by the translator upon request.
  7. The final translation is uploaded.
  8. The client has 7 days to use the TC Online Court before the job is considered approved.
  9. Funds are released to the Translator.
*While using the SecureTrans interface you will be able to communicate with the translator using TC Communication Console.
